About VickyBVicky is a fully qualified yoga teacher, including for pregnancy and teens, in addition to working as a sports massage therapist. Currently in her final year of a BSc Health, Exercise & Physical Activity, Vicky shares her time between teaching yoga & meditation locally, sports & pregnancy massage, exercise referral classes and designing bespoke periodised training plans for runners, from 10k to ultra.
Vicky has a strong interest in helping people to improve their quality of life to avoid developing, or to manage, chronic health conditions, based on current scientific evidence around specific conditions and in relevant areas such as behaviour change, physical activity and nutrition. |
"I'm a keen runner, since I completed NHS Couch to 5k programme in 2012. In 2016 I completed my first ultra marathon, 100k Race to the Stones. My yoga practice helps me remain injury free.
I have a wide variety of skills and prior experience that I have collected during my 20+ years in sales, marketing and communications working across global IT leaders and small local businesses alike. My experience spans executive coaching and communications, commercial leadership, team development and HR. I also have experience working with children, as a volunteer. I have a passion for health and well-being, both mental and physical and have experienced (and survived) many challenges and changes in my life, which gives me real empathy with my clients. In my 20s, I trained with a competitive bodybuilder for several years, which developed my initial interest in health, fitness and nutrition, and I was a regular squash player and mountain biker through my 20s and 30s."
